This week, we did a Quiz on Translations. I encourage parents to look at it and discuss it with their child. The marks are posted in Power School. We also worked on Reflections. Next week, we will continue with our transformations and start learning about rotations.
Please make sure to cover your child's textbook with paper as soon as possible.
Science
The students received their field trip forms. Please complete and return it with the $13 payment no later than September 30th. Thank you!
ELA
Shoebox presentations will continue on Monday, please be ready.
FLA
This week, we continued working and present verb tense. Next week, we will include that knowledge into complete sentence and try to use our new knowledge.
Social Studies
This week, we did a short introduction about terms we will use in Social Studies. I advise the students to make sure their maps of Canada and the regions of Canada are done. (Instructions, map of Canada, regions of Canada). If they need help to complete them, I am available during second part of lunch Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
There will be a Social Studies test next Monday (September 23rd). Here is a study guide to help them study for it : Explorons le Canada - guide d'études. They should have all the answers in their notes (fill in the blanks).
