Math:
We will  start our new unit on fractions and decimal numbers next Tuesday. Here is the homework for next week. Check Power School next week for the grades on Geometry.

Science:
We are experimenting with solids and liquids. Next week, we will continue with our chemistry experiments while learning about all the steps in a good scientific method.

ELA:
Students should have their notes complete for their research project.


FLA:

This week in, we finished the first and second chapter of "La créature du marais". We also worked on the "Discours Oratoire". here are the guidelines and the rubric : Discours Oratoire. Students will start presenting on March 2nd. Even if two periods a week are scheduled to work on this project, I would advise students to work on it at home.

A spelling bee contest has been announced. If students want to participate, here is the list of words for the "Concours d'épellation". The finals will be during the week of March 9th.

Social Studies:

We finished the Cordillera region.  Students will have time, next week, to review their study guide.  Here is a copy in advance : Guide d'études.  The test will be on the 24th of February.

The next region is the Arctic region.
